Can anyone give an example of a vintage card picturing a player in a Federal League uniform? ...the fact that it says "federal league" in the caption is not enough, and generic uniforms don't count - it has to be clearly identifiable as a Federal League uni

I think some of the Cracker Jack cards show Federal League uniforms; not positive tho.

That was quick, so since you are an expert I'll make it harder: Do any other card sets show Fed League unis? ...and are all Fed League team unis represented on cards? (I don't personally know the answers)

here is a chase from the T213 series 2: not sure if it is a federal league uniform or not.

Good try! Plus, the Coupons all use the same pictures from the t206 set - since it's 1909-11, no Coupon cards have Fed League unis pictured.

I don't think this is the case, but it's possible some of the Coupon pictures were "re-worked" to add Fed League unis?

There are a few Baltimore Federal League players in the cracker jacks and the 1914 Baltimore News cards have most of the Federal League team

...lots of responses but only proof of one Fed League uniform depicted on a baseball card?

I thought I would see a veritable plethora of scans

who used to collect Federal League cards - I figured he would chime in at some point. I'm beginning to think that the only cards showing Fed League unis are a handful of CJ's.

I have a book of Conlon photos that shows a portrait of George Stovall in a Kansas City uniform - it's the only one of Conlon's photos of a Federal League player that still exists. Kind of a mystery why there are no others since Conlon worked out of New York City and there was a Federal League Team in Brooklyn - maybe he didn't want to ruin his relationship with the NYC teams.

I know there is at least one Cracker Jack Federal League card showing the player wearing a uniform that had a large star on the chest. Can't remember what team that was.

Sorry, my scanner's on the fritz, but in addition to the Blair and Brennan already mentioned, there are at least three other Cracker Jack cards that purport to show the Federal League uniforms:

Zeider - Chicago
Suggs - Baltimore
Doolan - Baltimore

The Chicago Whales uniforms look a little iffy (no whale on the shirt), but the Baltimore uniforms clearly show a terrapin on the left breast.

Most cards in the set that identify the player as affiliated with the Federal League show generic uniforms or the uniform of the player's previous team.

Did the D303 pictures come from an earlier set? Here is picture of George Stovall when he was with KC Packers.

Leon, heres what he was wearing under that windbreaker...

Obviously there are a fair number of Cracker Jack Federal League cards but most are depicted with pretty vanilla uniforms... at least this ones a bit more interesting...

Paul, funny you should mention the uniform depicting a "star"... I never paid too much attention to the uniform on this card until Scotts post tonight..

I, too, had always thought that perhaps it depicted some type of star but then it dawned on me that the team was from Baltimore and, yes, that IS a Blue Terrapin (Turtle) there on the uniform...

...clearly shows a "C" on his cap - from when he was with the Indians...not a Fed League uni...

Leon - that uni isn't distinguishable as Fed League...

It is still looking like only CJ's show Fed League uniforms.

Scott, the "C" on his cap was from his days with the Cubs. He enver played for Cleveland.

George Stovall was with Cleveland from 1904-11, then the St. Louis Browns for two years - he never played with the Cubs.

Sorry. I was kind of hoping that "C" was the only part of "KC" that was showing & you just couldn't see the "K"
