Default Buy/Sell/Trade for February

Posted By: Jeff S

As per Elliot's instructions, a new thread is begun.

I've recently updated my webpage with several Old Judge cards for sale, including some Hall of Famers and popular minor stars. Since the last time I posted the link on this forum, I've also added N184 Kimball's and N175 Gypsy Queen cards.

The page is located at:

http://www.angelfire.com/nb/jms/sale.html

I also usually have a few eBay auctions running:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&include=0&userid=psa1&sort=3&rows=25&since=-1&rd=1

I can be contacted about any of these items at: jeff_sackmann -at- hotmail.com.

Hello All,

I posted this same message on the last thread but because the thread was so long, I did'nt get any feedback on it. So I will try again. Right now I am focusing on the cards that only appeared in the 150 Series of the T206 Set. My want list as well as condition preferences are as follows...

George Brown (Chicago) VG-EX to EX-MT
Mordecai Brown (Throwing W/ Cubs On Chest) EX-MT
Al Burch (Batting) VG-EX to EX-MT
Mike Donlin (Fielding) VG-EX to EX-MT
Johnny Evers (With Bat/ Cubs On Chest) EX-MT
Harry Patee (Horizontal) VG-EX to EX-MT
Barney Pelty (Horizontal) VG-EX to EX-MT
Ed Reulbach (Glove Showing) All Conditions

Also I am attempting all the back variations for several of the attempted cards, so if you have a rare back, I would be interested as well. Thanks for any input.

Nick- if you can find a T207 Almeida in EXMT for book, you better grab it. One sold on ebay this week in EX for almost triple book. I don't understand why it is worth so much more than Marsans, they are equally difficult.
I am still stuck on the following"
T207 Ward Miller, E93 Brown, E98 Jennings, E94 violet backgrounds, E97 Carrigan, both Youngs, Schlei, Keeler, Kleinow and Moore, T206 Young with glove, T212 1910 Obaks Castleton, Boardman, Briggs, Akin, Bennett, Custer, Miller (Sea), Casey, Byrd, Stovell Garrett and Greggs.
Thanks,
Bob

Tbob-
I bid several times on the T207 card. It was one of the first I have seen on Ebay. I did stop the madness at nearly $500.

Thus, I would pay double book for the card, maybe more!

Hi everyone. I need the following T206's to complete my set(minus the big 4 that is).

Armbruster, Bates, Beaumont, Covaleski, M. Brown cubs shirt, Casey, Chance red port., Donlin fielding, Donlin seated, Downey batting, Joe Doyle, Elberfeld NY, Elberfeld Wash port., Evers port., Ganley, Hooker, Lundgren KC, Magee port., McGann, McGraw port. no cap, O'Neill, Overall hands face, Pfeister throwing, Poland, Revelle, Rhoades rt arm, Schaefer detroit, Schlei port., Schulte front, Al Shaw, F. Smith chicago white cap, Wilhelm with bat.

I have about 50 extra T206's to trade or can pay cash.

My set is PSA graded and averages a bit over PSA 5 so I am looking for cards that are either graded or raw VG-Ex (no creases) or better.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Julie,

I have an N172 Keefe and N28 Anson with your name on them (very lightly, in pencil, you won't even notice). All I ask is for your N172 Connor.

Greetings from wet, windy and cold Holland,

I basically am concentrating on 3 areas at the moment:

N162's
T-205 HOFers
T-206 HOFers

Since I am geographically challenged (I live on the other side of the big Atlantic pond), most of my card action takes place via the electronic superhighway.

Please drop me an email if you have any of the above for sale/trade.

Ciao for now,

Mike "The Flying Dutchman" McGrail

Looking for Keeler T206s with El Principe.., Hindu or Old Mill backs. Cards should be crease free with no paper loss. Also looking for Old Judge poses I need.
Have available for trade or sale numerous Old Judge cards including a nice group of SGC slabbed Old Judge. When I get a little less lazy I will probably list these on ebay. Also have a NrMT Dogs Head cabinet of Toad Ramsey of Louisville.

Thanks--Jay

Wants:

N2 Allen & Ginter Indians in EX or better

N28 (SGC 80 or better) - Anson, Kelly, Mulvey, Comiskey, Clarkson, Bennett, Ward, Carver, Oakley, Cody

N29 (gradeable) - Ewing, F Murphy

N162 (gradeable) - Anson, Brouthers, Caruthers, Dunlap, Beecher, D'Oro

High end T3s and T9s

Tobacco banners, counter cards, poster cards

Still building my high end (SGC 80 or better) type collection (N, T, E, D, W, etc). I only have 2 'E' cards guys and girl, I know the board hoards these like iodine tablets,

Available for offers/trades/$$$/trades and $$$:

N28 (SGC graded) - Mulvey 50, Trickett 40

N29 (SGC graded) - Ives 60, Meyers 50, Albert 40

N43 (SGC graded) - O'Connor 70, Paulsen 70, Carter 70, Queckberner 50, Hill 50, Wood 50, Temple 50, McGee 70, Kerrigan 50, Albert 80

N184 (SGC graded) - Wessels 40, Webb 30, Wood 50, Hanlan 30, Humphrey 40

E120 Al Sothoron looks NM, rejected by SGC as being slightly trimmed at bottom edge

T202 #109 Stone about to slide SGC 50 (looks nicer)

Tom Barker (SGC graded) - "sliding into home umpire on left" 84, "runner sliding hugging base" 70, "runner sliding fielder at bag" 84

T9 Turkey Red boxer H Lewis EX+

T200 Pittsburg N SGC 30

T200 Chicago N SGC 40

W600 John Dunn EX-NM (trade for anything on want list)

W600 James Callahan EX+ (slight foxing back, slight stain front) (trade for anything on want list)

H807-1 Allen and Ginter Black Stocking 9 female baseball cabinet NM (similar to N173) (trade for anything on want list)

N172 Crotty "spotted tie" - SGC called me about this card because of the rough cut left side. They told me they have no doubt that it was a 19th century cut and even had it in a holder, but because of the way it looked in the holder and I think because of what is going on, they decided to pop it out, I agreed with them. It has some wrinkling on the back, but doesn't show through to the front.

N172 Radbourne portrait SGC 60 - Very slight layering on back bottom right corner. SUPER sharp image, great contrast, super clean, super card. If I don't get any serious offers from the board, I'll be trying it one time on ebay, then it will probably go to one of the major auction houses if i don't get any bites. A rare chance.

any questions, big scans, etc., feel free to email, happy hunting, Keith

Konetchy with a Polar Bear back, badly miscut top to bottom on the back. The bottom line of the box is missing and the bottom line of the next card up is shown on the card. Front is a little o/c top to bottom. Any takers at $75? Card goes on ebay tomorrow afternoon PST.

Also offering a solid vg M116 Davey Jones with blue background $50.

Also a near mint 1962 Stan Musial $60.

Also an ex-mt+ 1950 Bowman Allie Reynolds $30

Scans of all available; just email me.

after a long and i am sure unnoticed hiatus from the board i am going to once again try to contribute a small piece of my mind(that is all i have really).

i am still actively looking for e107 breisch williams cards, i have a small want list, but will buy any in decent condition. i have dupes for sale or trade and will be very favorable with cards i need to complete the set.

also looking for t204 TTT's (they are not "ramly" TTT's to be totally correct, gonna have to talk to bob about that, but still called that). i need quite a few yet. will buy for cash or trade my t204 ramlys or TTT's. i have lots of graded cards(psa or sgc, don't want to discriminate) and raw cards available. again you show me a card i need and you'll be pleased with the deal. happy references available upon request.

i also need 1 m116 charlie smith to complete the set. and 2 T207's bauman & downey. show me the cards, i'll show you the money, i just can't count it out as fast as rosen, but i'll do it with a smile!

lastly i have begun a new pursuit, the W600 sporting life cabinets. i am buying almost any that you can come up with in decent condition. or will trade other cards. as most of you know i have an extensive amount of cards available for trade or sale and the better the item i am offered the deeper i will dig.

please email or reply with any questions or potential trades.

scott
