Fun mail day today!
A pile of Collins-McCarthy cards from the last Collector Connection auction (thanks Scott!) and a beautiful 68T Carew from eBay.

Default Early Christmas gifts!

These 2 rarities arrived today, a Hank Gowdy B18 (Red infield) and a James LaFitte T211 Red Sun card.

Thanks to REA for the B18 and to Christopher for the T211 via the BST thread.

A nice way to end a great collecting year.

Happy Holidays,

Patrick

Picked up these T205’s for a great price.

Also got the 1956 Early Wynn. It’s in nice shape except for a small, odd little cigarette ash burn? on the back.

Greg, great looking Witmor Candy card of Wheat. Which back does it have? I love cards like this from obscure sets.

Well, it took me 4 years to complete (and sell) a 520 T206 Peidmont/SC (PB) set.

Now been working 6 years on a T206 "mid-tier" back set (still in progress )

So, I figure, time for something new ...... T207s !!!!

Just two favorites for now ..........

jsg03c.jpg

Marsans --- Yes, Virginia, T207s do have diamond cuts .....

Benz -- "Hey pal, what the hell are you looking at" ...........

Fun, fun, (and Merry, merry), Scott

Got about halfway to another Dodger team set. Love how affordable 1940 Play Ball is if you’re not chasing Jackson, Teddy, or Joe D.

My first Ruth card, although this is nearly the size of an exhibit. Bought from a board member who was patient to let me get my financing in order.

As a long time 1930’s collector, I had to go for my first R340.
