Sim baseball leagues

1990s pc style sim baseball with salary cap, free agency auction, ammy drafts, training camp etc. 2 games simmed per day, and the commish (Adam Taylor - adam.taylor@granicus.net) is really good with keeping the leagues moving.

You can join one league for free, there are currently 3 available. The final one listed below is about to start it's first season. FYI I'm in the 1st and 3rd ones listed.

There are three leagues on that site that will be starting play in about a week and need owners:

1. The Federal Baseball League is a 16-team association with 4 divisions in 1 league. 4 division winners plus 2 wildcard teams make the postseason. Like the GFBL, it uses a free agent auction each season. It is currently in the last couple months of its 13th season, and if you aren't in it already you'll recognize a number of the owners from the GFBL. There are currently 3 open teams waiting to be taken.

2. The Premier Baseball League is a 24-team association with 3 leagues of 8 teams each that uses promotion/relegation rules to move teams between leagues each season. Only the 8 teams in the top league (Gold) get to play for World Series honors, with the top 4 teams making the postseason. Snake draft is used for both free agent and amateur draft. I kept this association private for a few seasons and am now opening it up for other people to play in. Only major league games are simulated in the Premier. Next up in this association is the Free Agent Draft.

3. The Gargantuan Baseball League is a brand-new 80-team association of 5 leagues with 4 divisions of 4 teams each. Divisions winners will advance to the postseason. Players have been placed on initial teams by the computer to make things easy to
start with, but going forward will use an auction for free agency at the beginning of each season. This association will simulate both major league as well as minor league games. The first order of business for this association will be Spring Training.
