Default Sold my truck........

Recently I had two small strokes and it effected my eyes, being unable to see well and being afraid to drive......I sold my truck. I was down about the whole thing and my good wife said to take the money and put it into my New York Highlander collection. So, with $7000,00 in hand I went hunting!

What would you buy with $7000,00 ?

This is what I bought and traded so far ;

WOW!!!

Sure is a nice way to "lick your wounds".

Sorry and nice pick ups. (pardon the unintended pun).

Those are awesome! I would rather have those pickups than a "pickup" any day, in particular the Kid Elberfeld. Years later he took a young Cecil Travis under his wing. Funny, isn't it? Kid Elberfeld was like a stick of dynamite, and Cecil Travis was calm as a cucumber. Great choices sir; they are fabulous. I hope you enjoy them and thanks for posting them!

Gary, you're in Jersey, right? Did you ever cross the border and go up to the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (or whatever it is specifically called nowadays) to see the Hilltop Park home plate monument?? The coolest thing was walking 90 feet down the left field line (into the weeds) and standing where that incredibly historic Ty Cobb photo took place.

Wonderful cards. I learned two things about you.
#1 - You have great taste in cards.
#2 - You married very well.

Congratulations on both

Great pickups! T204s and Rose postcards are two of my favorite sets. Such striking cards.

You sold one pickup and got several pickups in return. Seems like a good deal
