The card ones are dumb (my opinion), but some of the other ones are interesting. Of course, there's no way my wife would allow me to hang a fluorescent 3ft x 4ft giclee of Dan Marino in the livingroom, den or anwhere else in the home or yard.

...maybe I have no sense for the artsy-fartsy, but I think it's a cool idea. I'd love to have my favorite Matty card blown up to a print like this -- there are a couple neat places where it would actually look terrific. I mean...some people still go "ga-ga" over Warhol's Campbell's soup can "portraits" <gag> I think those were ugly. Why the hell would you want a picture of a large cream of mushroom soup can on your wall?

I think the Matty CJ or one of the M116's or his T206 Dark Cap blown up for my office would be awesome.

How about molded or action figures of your favorite card images?

It would be pretty easy to do for some of the caramel cards that feature full images. You could make 3D statues of the t206's that only feature portraits or partial bodies.

I think a mini-statue of the image from the t206 Wagner or Cobb portrait would be awesome.

...with a display sheet that can be placed behind the figure, which has the same background as the original card.

One more step further: make the action figures bobbin' heads or nodders. For Leon, a bobbin' head King Kelly 4 Base Hits. You know Leon's droolin' at the mere thought.

They look just like his 1985 cards, only the colors are wild. The whole sheet fits in a baseball card album.

I don't think I'd like a giant Cobb staring down at me.
