Default Moeller show review/observations

As is usually the case, I slipped away to visit the Moeller show in Cincinnati. It's the closest thing to a late 1980s show I encounter most years...lots of activity, autograph guests mainly Reds related. Enjoyed the show, bought a few cards from William Chappel, which is my usual practice anytime I see him. I got down to four cards for my 1961 Topps set...I actually found them all, but not at agreeable prices so I stopped and finished the set (pending final verification...how often do you go through a set only to find you missed a card) off ebay Buy It Nows while eating at Frisch's Big Boy. There was a TON of Reds stuff, lots of vintage football and a better than normal assortment of vintage. Prices would best be described as ok.

I got to visit with a few folks, Dave Schrader, Steve Slocket and Mark Reed in particular, that I don't see often enough. All in all, it's a good show with a different vibe than you usually find. Enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks for the post! I'm heading that way shortly. They've stopped notifying me about their shows - I completely missed the spring one because I never heard from them, and never got so much as an email about this one. Very strange.
