Default Mickey Mantle Autograph Bat Help

So,

I added this one to my collection in about 1988-1989...My Dad actually bought it for me from a long time collector in worcester MA... If my Dad's memory services him correct, the person who sold it to him actually got it in the late 70's early 80's...The more I immerse myself into the wonderful world of autographs, the more I dislike it and doubt the authenticity... I simply can't bring myself to get it authenticated but would welcome any opinions that you all may have...

bat is a Hillerich and Bradsby Bat with a MM1 stamp on the Knob...

Should I put it back in the tube? or should I go hit rocks with it?

Thanks,
David

Picture is kinda bad. but looks VERY shaky indeed. It is trying to be an earlier style Mantle, but looks like it fails to me

Go ahead and spoil a good walk,, hit a golf ball with it .
Sorry Scott G. but IMHO Mark Twain was right about golf .
And gray ghost it does certainly look like someone tried to fake an early Mantle with that bat scribble.

I remember hitting gravel and golf balls with an aluminum bat in the back yard.
