Thanks for the insight. I agree, there's a full page photo on the other side. It was almost certainly put in an album. Ruth is at the end of his playing days on the cover. 1934 was his last year with the Yankees before he was traded to the Braves. It might be at the end of his career but, hey, it's still Ruth.
