Default OT: Movie star photos/Baseball star photos

I might be wrong, but I seem to remember Baseball photos that were exactly like the top photos at this link:

http://www.network54.com/Forum/526604/thread/1198724503/last-1198785814/ID+Help+please

Does anyone know who the manufacturer or maker was of these photos? I know that they were American made premiums from the 40's & 50's. Any info would be appreciated.

They remind me of the R423 baseball strip pics from the early '50's, which were dispensed in the old penny gum ball machines--mfr unknown.

The movie star pics are a bit larger however.
