Default Blow me away!

The month is not even half way over yet, and once again you guys all blow me away with the cards that you pick up month after month. I thank you for sharing your collections with me and everyone else. I know that they add to the brightness of my day. I look forward to seeing just a few new cards each day. Yes, I don't own them, but I if I could, I would still look at them all day!
Thanks,
Tim

Eric, this should help you out:

http://www.cardtarget.com/cgi-bin/gm...dID=1373389271

That will provide sales histories from Ebay as well as auction houses. As far as private sales, I would expect them to be in the same ballpark.

Card Target is a great resource, one you should really become familiar with.

Happy collecting!

Hi Erick. I paid a little more than I wanted but it was the background color (red) that I needed. A violet or red one goes for more because they are so scarce in those two colors. Now I need the gold background Wagner and I will have finished up the Wagners....

Erick- the E94 set is unusual in many ways, one of which is that different players are scarcest in different colors. Violet and gold backgrounds have for many, many years been presumed to be the toughest colors to find but olive green appears to be the toughest with several players. The olive green Byrne, for example is almost impossible, I have only seen one ever and still need it. In the Wagner, the red appears toughest for some reason.
I think the violet scarcity in the E94 is due also to the fact that a few collectors are trying to collect the set in violet only and many collectors just love the violet background color.

Thanks Phil! I really don't care about the number grade it looks more like a 4 to me, 1 very light small corner crease and some dirt/staining on reverse. I'm was happy to find a low grade copy with nice eye appeal!

Managed to pick up a couple T205's for my set...many thanks to Goodman's Sports Cards at Westchester for working with me on these two...nice man.

Also picked up a Wallace a few weeks back and don't think I posted it...

I didn't get to go to Nationals but my son did and he brought me back a present. Not the right year for the T206 cards but still was nice to get the pack from him. He took me long enough to take a picture didn't it.
