Default Mantle Dan Dee Card Help

I wanted to get you collectors more knowledgeable then me to take a look at this card and tell me what you think. I know this card was issued by a Potato Chip Company...but from what I've read, most of these cards were stained by grease and the like...and werent cut straight. I know its probably difficult to tell from this one extremely lousy picture but is this fake...? The card is in a plastic holder. Any info would be helpful..thanks.

Altho this should be in the PostWar section, the card is waaay too clean, white, centered & w/ blurried image to be real.

Default 54 Dan Dee Mantle

Semitar6,

I would have to see a better scan to really know. My Dan Dee Mantle looks pretty clean as well (attached). If you are able to post a better scan, I am sure more people would chime in.

Best of luck either way.

Z Wheat

Default Additional Pictures

No this card isnt mine. A friend of mine noticed it at a auction and knew it was a interesting card...or rather if it was original it is. The auction house sent him some other pictures but its in a screwed holder and they didnt want to take the card out to photograph. I just wanted to know if the card was worth bidding on...but apparently it isnt from what I've heard so far.

The card does look like it has a smudge of grease on it.
