Default 1968 Topps Tom Seaver Proof (left-handed)

For many years, I've owned a 1968 Topps Tom Seaver proof, showing him pitching left handed. I bought it directly from the Topps Vault. It's the center piece of my Tom Seaver collection. The only disappointment is that it's missing some color passes.

Today I noticed for the first time a complete version of this card with all color passes on the Trading Card Database. I know it's a long shot, but I was wondering if any of you know who owns this card. Thanks.

Paul

Stunning card. It's a blank-backed progressive color proof, correct?

I believe so. Definitely blank backed. I always wondered if Topps ever finished the job and made the complete proof. I guess the answer is yes. I'd sure like it for my Seaver collection.

Very cool card. I hope you find it and can add it to your collection some day.

I love how it's not a reversed negative or anything. He's actually donning a mitt on his right hand and grinning like a happy kid. Very cool.

This is way better than the 77 Orioles Reggie Jackson IMO

Not sure if it will post but in this article there is a blurb from Keith Olberman about having one of them

Thanks. I thought it might be Olberman because I know he collects unissued Topps proofs. I guess that means the card won't be coming my way anytime soon.
