Default Why so many issues w/ Jennings dancing

Posted By: Joe D.

Just wondering...

Jennings is dancing in a lot of different card issues (not just T206).

Was he a dancing fool?

or was there a certain dancing incident that the cards are trying to depict?

Can you imagine if a third base coach acted that way today? He'd be committed. By all accounts, Hughie knew the game and also knew it was supposed to be fun. I have a huge Conlon poster of him on my wall. It's one of my favorite pieces.

Let Hughie coach third and put the Bird on the mound and we'd have a team.

Hey, Tommy Lasorda wasn't too different from Jennings when Tommy was a third base coach for the Dodgers.

I would be dancing and yelling Weeeah! too if I was able to watch players like cobb perform everyday. He had the best seat in the house. Go Tigers
