Now that this auction is over ill get your guys opinion on the ball. I dont know if a member here won it or not. But what do you guys think the chances are that this was a real home run ball. I know their would be no way to prove it. I was not able in finding a past sale of a baseball attributed to a Lou Gehrig home run at all.

I had the ball on my watchlist. If I went cheap I thought it would be a cool ball to have. Without any proof, you cant really prove that the ball is legit. It's fun to dream tho. If the ball had iron clad proof, I'm sure it would bring thousands. Anyone could have written that on there at anytime, so I say the chances are slim.
