Zach and his father touched many lives. I was sitting close to them in that picture above and could just see and feel how proud Max was of his young sons accomplishments. That bond was very inspriational. Zach, I'm very sorry for your loss, but know that you meant the world to your father...and it showed.

Zach please accept my sincerest regrets. My empathy is especially personal as I had a very close relative who suffered over thirty years from this terrible disease. Her recent passing was a blessing to escape her suffering but terribly hard on our family to see her go.
It is also a testament to your father that he raised such a good son who looked after him during his times of need.
I donate to the MS Society often and will make a donation in your father’s name.
Regards,
Bob Craik

Very sad news. Devastating. I met Zach and Max at the National at Anaheim in 2006. Great people. So great to see a father and son spending time together, sharing the joy of collecting. Most people would have found Max's condition too daunting to undertake such a trip. It not even an issue for Max. It's clear that no obstacle would keep them apart. Zach, our thoughts are with you.

Zach--

I think we might have met at the Cleveland dinner about 5 years ago. Real sorry about your dad. Mine passed away in 1979. Time is the best healer. Mark

I had the pleasure of having dinner with Zach and Max at the last few Nationals. Their relationship was a beautiful thing. Anyone who knew Max will miss him. My sincerest condolences, Zach.

It was really great meeting you and your Dad in Cleveland this past summer.
The best part of being at the National Show is getting to meet people in this hobby
that you have conversed with electronically.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family....and for your Dad.
