Yeah, I noticed this the other day. Would appear to be the runts of the litter that didn't make the catalogue. I think it's a good idea so as not to clog up their premier auction with some lower priced stuff; some of the cards -- in higher grade -- can be found in the May auction.

I do the same thing with my consignments. The stuff that doesn't make the cut ends up on ebay. Of course, Mastro has three cuts- the great, the average, and the ugly.

It look like they are either using Pete Calderon's old account, or it is Pete selling the stuff. Check out the history of the userID.

Default Mastro selling on Ebay???

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to respond to the inquiry.

This is absolutely a Mastro Auction event. We started a significant eBay presence with our Connoisseur auctions we hold three times a year in conjunction with eBay live (next one is Saturday May 3rd).

You will see an amazing vintage collection entitled "The Gotham Collection" in our Spring Premium event catalog (shipped out today). Working with the consignor we chose to sell a selection of items in (5) different eBay "events" through the end of May. You will note none of them are being held while bids are being accepted for our Premium event.

We believe these types of events provide a new venue for offering material while also serving to cross promote our Premium and Collector Classic events.

Plus you have to find some way to compete with Brockelman and Luckey!!!

Hope that answers your questions.

Regards,
Doug Allen
President

"upheave" sounds like you just ate some clams that tasted a little funky

Leon -

Remember to make this one of the 4 questions at the sedar:

"Why is Leon & Scott's auction different from all other auctions ?"
