Nothing special, but a nice example of an E102 Germany Scheafer. I'm really liking the horizontal cards and will be working on a small collection of them going forward.

Also picked up this N165 Goodwin Games and Sports of the Hurdle Race card. I have one of the baseball subjects from the set and figured I'd get some more. I like the design on these ones.

Finally pulled the trigger on this one. Only a graded pop of 4 of the rarer Factory 25 SC460 (5 after I send it in to SGC). Always excited to tick one off the list for the back run! Over paid, but who doesn't these days?

Got these 2 awesome T210s in the mail this morning thanks to a trade with a fellow member. The Weeks gets me to within 5 cards of the Ft Worth team set. Plus who doesn't need a T210 Jackson in their collection.

Default First Pre-War Card

Thanks to everyone on this forum for sharing your knowledge. I began collecting again during Covid and this forum is the best place on the internet. I initially began with a focus on the 1950s but after seeing so many great prewar threads on here I finally made my first prewar purchase last week. Thanks again for the knowledge you all share.

Nice pick up Brad and welcome to pre-war collecting. As Dante wrote "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here".

No other card collector in the entire world would be as excited as I am to have picked up this rough-condition 1925 W504 Universal Toy & Novelty Co. card for my master collection of Sam Rice cards. As best as I can recall, I've only ever seen one other example of this card, a very nice example that resides in the collection of a Board member who won't part with it (hi BVH).

I got this card in a small lot of rough W504s and even-rougher W515-1s in an eBay auction from a seller who is not knowledgeable regarding vintage baseball cards. I say this because he did not reference the ACC designations, the result being that his listing did not match any of my saved eBay searches. Very fortunately for me, Board member and good friend Bryan L. happened to spot the eBay listing and alert me to it - thanks again, Bryan!

Congrats Val on picking up a toughie. You can now update your tagline as follows...

Seeking very scarce/rare cards for my Sam Rice master collection, e.g., E210 York Caramel Type 2, 1931 W502, W504 (DON'T NEED IT ANYMORE, GOT ONE, PRETEND YOU CAN'T SEE W504 ON THIS WANTLIST), W572 sepia, W573, W575-1 both versions, 1922 Haffner's Bread, 1922 Keating Candy, 1922 Witmor Candy Type 2 (vertical back), 1926 Sports Co. of Am. with ad back, etc.

Thanks Phil, Sonny & Brian the comedian for your kind words.

Brian, I do truly enjoy your very frequent humor. I did revise my tagline, but not quite as you suggested.

Thanks Andrew! Yeah, the centering is what really motivated me to make a run at this particular card. As you mentioned, so hard to find one nicely centered in any grade.
