Default Question on T205

was it at the rothstein show? or the LI show?

just curious...

graded card seem to get a bid premium that for sure,,,, I personally add 10 or 20 bucks at most to the card, but most dealers try and hit homeruns sometimes....but that seems like alot to me, unless you collect bosox managers haha,,,wow...

Default Question on T205

Stahl isn't historically considered a scarce card in that set (like Dahlen, Kleinrow etc). Unless Stahl is rare in that PSA grade (which I seriously doubt) or the back is very scarce I would say that's a steep price. I would expect about $50 on Ebay. The professional grading on T205s is very tough with respect to the gold borders. What I thought was EX+ ungraded before the attack of the three-lettered wonders (grading companies) is often graded VG-EX (some corner/edge wear but overall nice looking without creases).

Default Question on T205

A graded 4 T205 for fifty bucks! On eBay! I really dont see that. I do see a common going for 65-85. Graded 4's are no longer cheap in this set. And 5's are going way up!..
As for the Westchester and LI shows, going for a 'Home run' to me means ripping off uneducated buyers..You have to pay the premium for slabbed cards. But when guys start telling you about the cost of their tables and transportation expenses forget about talking deal..Regardless, slabbed 4's can normally be 90.
