Larry, a near set of the 1948 Gunther Beer PCs was auctioned individually in the December Huggins & Scott auction: https://bid.hugginsandscott.com/lots...searchin=title

I assume you picked up the PCs that you didn't already have, including the newly discovered card - right?

I picked up a couple of 1957 Knickerbocker beer postcard sets on eBay over the last few years.

Yes I got the gunthers
Lost 1 though and the kuhel wasn't in there
The knickerbockers you won were mine
All these cards and sets are far rarer then what's in every auction
In the last 10 years more than 100000 t206s auctioned off

I think about 2019 for the 1955 Topps Stamps. I was underbidder on a couple, still wish I'd pushed more for one of them as I need a type example.

I still have the spare set of knickerbockers.

I'd be willing to part with them for the right price.

Or trade! Pretty sure you still have that Briggs Meats Mays panel...

You can never have too many!

But I'm guessing you're not really looking to add to that stash.

Was just pointing out how tough inexpensive stuff is compared to common stuff like t206 cards
Some of that stuff I listed I haven't seen for sale in 10 years or more...except some of mine ..lol

No doubt.

Part of the fun with collecting - if it's not worth much, then there's not much of an incentive to dig it up and sell it.

Of course, you could always get agitated like the Vern Clemons collector when someone doesn't want to sell you stuff that you need for your collection.

Speaking of 1952 National Tea bread labels, I'm looking for Mickey Vernon.
