You call the mortgage company that holds your HELOC to see if you can get a credit increase so you can buy more cards.

You lull yourself to sleep at night not counting sheep but reliving in great detail the "Find" of a lifetime you imagined you made this weekend at that obscure antique shop.

And this one is for real: You drive six hours just to go to a card show.

Edit: And that's only to get there.

I knew there would be some great comments and yours is certainly one of them......I always share the joke about the graders drinking with us after each day at the National. We hold up each beer bottle and inspect it as you do a card....You really have to be there but it's pretty funny....

Each weekend in the fall, I go to downtown atlanta when georgia tech has home football games...usually, it will involved 6-8 hours of tailgating, then walking 2-3 miles to the stadium...now, while i'm down there its pretty much a given I'll have 5-10 down on their luck homeless gentlemen come up to me and say some pretty strange stuff....your statements Peter ARE more earth-shattering...

Jason...not too steer this too far off topic, but Georgia Tech is about the worst campus in the country to try to do anything on....parking on campus is limited...and its just easier to tailgate at the spot we have off campus...plus we just pay $20 to park there instead of $40..but yes, there are times when I definately wish I stayed home....

I've never been there, but that sounded like an awfully long hike!

how are you ever expected to make it back to your car with that long of a walk after that many beers?!
If you head off in the wrong direction from the start, you could wind up 5 or 6 miles from your car before you get it straightened out!!!
