I used to have about 10 of those Pirate backs myself, but only have 2 now.

Interesting is that 2 of yours have closed pack design,..... never seen that.

All of the above 15 are from a similar series to the one that you posted. Looks like Chinese warriors or something. I also have two of a different series which I believe are Chinese proverbs. Does anyone have an idea as to which series is tougher?

I believe that all of the major companies grade non-sports cards. It is just a matter if they can be identified accurately. As for this Pirate set specifically, I am not sure.

I have several chinese figures but also have several architecture type cards showing buildings with the Pirate backs. Previously had some flags with the Pirate backs but it was more than 20 years ago.

Just my personal experience, but the warrior types are easier than the proverb types. I have 50-60 warriors, only 6 proverbs. (did have 8 but sold 2 to you Richard, hope you like them.
