I'm putting a couple teams together to make a serious run at two of the larger lots in this auction -

Lot #1192 - the e103 group
Lot #1185 - e102 group

If anyone else was planning on bidding seriously on either lot, let me know as I'd certainly welcome the help.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Anyone out there interested in the Lou Gehrig and Herb Pennock 1926 Yankees Cut-Outs as part of a three card lot? I am only interested in the Earle Combs.

Please let me know.

Thanks

I have never partnered up for an auction lot...
so I was wondering exactly how does that work?

If you get a bunch of guys together do you agree ahead of time how high you will go?

And do you assign percentage values for each card in the lot?

just curious.

Joe- that's exactly how it's done. You assign percentages and agree on a maximum bid.

P.S.- I just spoke to Mark Rucker. I will be joining you on the 28th!

I now have interested parties on 2 of the 3 - 1926 Yankees Kut-Outs lot and am still looking for a partner who is a serious bidder for the Lou Gehrig card in the lot. Please e-mail me at: vguerrerobb@yahoo.com if interested.

Thanks everyone

Just a quick update on the e103 and e102 teams I was putting together. There's still plenty of cards "available" in both groups if anyone would like to join. Many of these are tougher cards and/or HOFers in their respective lots.

Lot #1192 - the e103 group
Doyle, Davis, Devlin, Jordan, Leach, Rucker, Thomas, Donovan, Dooin, Gibson, Ewing, Gibson, Lord, Pastorious, McLean, McQuillan, Bresnahan and Brown

Lot #1185 - e102 group
Chase, Matty, Shean, Bescher, Schaefer, Dooin, Lobert, Miller (Bat), Tinker, Zimmerman, Cobb and Crawford.

Anyone interested can reach me at redmaccie@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
Brian

Jon, Steve and I bailed out of the E95 set, many of the cards that we were interested in had back damage from scrapbook removal and we felt more comfortable waiting on singles to pop up on eBay eventually. Not from this lot imparticular, just in general.
