Default 3 blurbs, 3 EXCITING stories from 1916

I was just thumbing through issues of Sporting Life looking for information on Bob Unglaub's death and found this blurb PLUS Swede Risberg going to the White Sox PLUS Joe Tinker nearly Drowns!
shew!I needed to take a break and calm my nerves after reading these three paragraphs

Default we think things are tough

I know - we think things are tough, but man, people in the 1910s had so much sh*t to contend with it's unreal. I know it sounds crazy to say right now, but as somebody who studies history for a living, I believe we are fortunate to live in the 21st century-
