I'm by no means a Hornsby expert, but what I can say is that the signature is JSA certified, and even the exact picture of the card with the signature comes up when you run the cert number in JSA's Lookup. Hope that helps.

I think its probably ok. Yeah. The R is a little off, but maybe he was standing/walking when he signed it.

I agree. The only thing I don't like about it is the R...and that can be for a lot of reasons already mentioned. I've seen some miss-shaped R's from him before (specifically in 1962, the year before he died) but never that bad. Got to believe it was a quick, on the run type of autograph. I'd say good but would look for something else that wouldn't make me cringe when I looked at it.
