Default Chicago Show

I will be traveling to the Chicago Show this weekend for the first time. Anyone have an idea what prices will be like for the guys looking to build vintage sets? Also, how much memorabilia is usually at this show?

Best shows in the midwest outside of The National! Lots of vintage. Prices... who knows.

You will find prices all over the board. Shop around. There is not nearly as much memorabilia as there used to be. Come see me in Booth 338 near the concession stand. My prices are reasonable.

Always a great show, not for the faint of heart dealers. It is different from the national in that more dealers want to deal, rather than show off like many do at the national. I got too old and faint of heart to do what it takes to be successful at the March and November shows.

Did anyone go and share their experience from this show? I have heard crickets about this show on here and on other card social media platforms.

I live an hour away so I always go to see what's up. It was a pretty nice size and had a lot of everything. Too much modern shiny stuff but a great amount of vintage and pre war. Prices were all over the place as its never a surprise. I wouldn't recommend this show if you are far away unlike the National. There will be some nice stuff coming up from the auction house previews I saw but no major news or stories to report. As I go to all these Rosemont shows I would just recommend for collectors to come to the National when it's here, but if it's not a big inconvenience then why not, you might just find something.
