Default OT (slightly) but very cool

This has probably been spotted before; however, I noticed something tonight for the first time.

In the movie Major League, the team goes through final cut-down day. As players look in their lockers, each one braces themself, hoping not to find a red tag. As Pedro Cerrano opens his locker, there are half a dozen baseball cards in plain sight. Can’t believe I never saw these until now.

From an 80s Diamond King to a Hank Aaron rookie, it’s a neat little collection.

I remember seeing the Hank RC probably after the 20th time seeing it (and also thinking how I had not seen it before as well) but never caught what the other cards were. Thanks for pic.

  • 1968 Topps Game Roberto Clemente
  • ????????

Not that I can match it to a card (I tried) but for some reason I feel it's Reuben Gomez. No idea why and he certainly doesn't belong with that group. Monte Irvin or Larry Doby or Minnie Minoso would make more sense.

A smaller copy of a 1959 Bazooka Mays is my guess.
