What would SGC grade this card today? My guess would be a "50" maybe less.Times have changed...

SGC suffers from the same issue as PSA: The old grades just wouldn't stand up by today's standards. Like PSA grades from that time frame, I haven't seen an SGC grade that would get the same grade today.

I think you're guessing a little low about what SGC might give it today though. I would say it's a 70.

my guess would have been a 70 also. The staining on the back is either bleed thru or 'wet sheet' ghost, which some collectors seem to pay a premium for.

That's not bleed through.

It's "staining" from being placed on top of another sheet that was still wet.

I have a similar T218 that drew a 50 because of the printing stuff.
