T205 Hoblitzell - No Stats & More
With STRONG encouragement from my wife, I FINALLY landed MY "White Whale" - the T205 Hoblitzell - No Stats, paying roughly TWICE what my folks paid for their home!
God Rest Their Souls - they would NOT have approved! Anyway, my wife asked me WHY is that card so rare. All I could say was "Uhhhh, because...." After all these years, is there a BETTER answer than that???? In addition, I'm looking for a T205 Hoblitzell - "One L" with a basic Piedmont 25 reverse. Does THAT card exist??? Hey Greg,
Congrats on the Hobby-no stats. The simple answer to your wife's question is that it was printed only with the Hassan 30 reverse. As for the one "L" variant, I don't recollect seeing it with any back other than the Sweet Caporal red. Others are far more knowledgeable on T205 than I and may have better information. I'm pretty sure you won't find it with a Piedmont 25 reverse. Happy Hunting!
