Default Boston Garter Box

Posted By: Suzanne

In reply to the post about the Boston Garter box, I would say make the trade. I bought an authentic garter box for my collection about 4 years ago in that same range; $350-360. It is in fair condition, with a broken bottom half. The top portion is solid though. I was afraid to spend the money at the time, but I have never seen another one from the correct year since. The box is great and I don't think you will regret it.

I sold an EX condition, very nice garter box just like the one pictured to Brooks for $125. I had it for 2 Nationals and no interest was shown. I bought it off of ebay for $100. I also had a smaller thin one that I sold for $65.

Saw similar one for sale at the NY national - price was $300. $125 seems like a good deal for one of these, but I'm not an expert. Guess you must need to catch an interested person.
