Default If you were crossing over

I recently purchased a very high grade T205 from a guy who is now a new member. I have a registry with SGC but will GAI cards cross to SGC as the same normally or am I better having PSA() slab the card for value reasons. I am not starting a debate and I am squemish about PSA but its all about the $$ in the end. So what do you think is the best option or your opinion about this???

Both companies are tough on GAI because of all the drama. I doubt if the card will cross over with either company. My advice is to roll with SGC because most folks are going their way with all pre-war stuff.

My last four GAI cards were crossed to SGC about a year or so ago: two crossed over with the same grade and two lost half a grade. Needless to say I was very happy, all things considered.

Wow.......Jeff that is like a homerun. I think things have changed since last year, at the National GAI cards were not crossing at all. I saw folks complaining at both booths.

I must have hit a grand slam then - I had a GAI 3 1915 CJ Nap Lajoie cross over to a PSA 4 at this year's national!

You can forget crossing them to PSA they just kill GAI cards. I have tried 4 times with no luck, on two i cracked and resubmitted and they got the grades I wanted, just more grading fees thou.

I have had great luck with crossing cards in GAI holders, however I break them out first, and then send them in.
