1955 Crossover - Opinions
Yea I know BUT it looks "so damn perfect" that I couldn't resist........... I bought the card - not the holder
JRuler centering is approx 54/46 L/R and 58/42 T/B and I don't see the typical telltale corner points that suggest trimmed. It is slightly diamond cut. You guys see any other obvious defects that would keep this from crossing over? The 8.5 is not as important as just getting it to cross as I believe it would have to cross to at least a 7 plus-ish? In any case - I guess sending it in will settle the ISA debate that has been going on in my head for some time now...

Did you ever wonder how and why............
newer grading companies like ISA come up with cert numbers like
52749582 ? At least PSA started out with 00000001 . I also own a BVG card with a cert number of 00000021 .

Let start by saying that I am no expert when it comes to evaluating cards. The top left corner on the front of the card does not seem right to me. When I looked at it on the front of the card and on the back (top right) it looks like it may have been trimmed. Just my 2 cents for what it is worth. A nice looking card no matter what.

Both top and bottoms corners on the left side are ever so slightly soft
I would say 7.5 through either grading companies |

If you are stoked ogling that 8.5 slab, best to leave it there. The card surgeons may have gotten to it and that is why it isn't in a PSA / SGC slab. Presents well, as most authentics do. Maybe the scan or my old eyes, but the top edge looks a little wavy.

Yea the 8.5 wasnt what did it for me and I'd be tickled pink to see it come back as a 7 or 7.5 - It was the card that actually grabbed me...

I have know of collector who got back PSA evidence of trimming on cards they had pulled from the pack and there was virtually no chance of it being doctored.
