You still may want to have some of the seasoned vets chime in to get more opinions. But I'm 100% confident if that makes a difference.

It's good. A little rushed, and the "a" is sliiiiiiightly atypical, but good nonetheless.

What's on the other side?

This one puzzles me, as the item doesn't make a lot of sense. Ruth would have had to mail order something that could ship with a parcel tag from a butcher in Nova Scotia. Or maybe he sent home some of the catch from one of his hunting trips there? Otherwise there's no need for his address.

Unless the butcher decided to keep the tag from the mail order and wrote his own, there should be a stamp on the other side.

Hi Steve,

I purchased this from the original owner whose Great Grandfather owned the butcher shop. My understanding is that orders would be placed with name and address and then picked up.

Pretty interesting, hadn't thought of that sort of use for a parcel tag, but it does make some sense.

There's a reason all my autographs are cheap ones.
