Default Time for another round of ...... What is this ?!?!

Posted By: S Gross

Sorry it's boxing, but I hope maybe someone has seen a baseball counterpart.

1 -- Patsy Kline (featherweight, 1907-1915)
2 -- Same image as 1910 T218 Mecca/Hassan
3 -- Small, only 1.75 x 2 "
4 -- Heavier than card stock
5 -- Blank back

My guess is cut from candy box ...... others ??????

looks like a bubble-jet print glued to cardstock then nicely aged. Funny how cards' original dirty border and round corners copied through.

Good eye, Steve. Not only do I think that the dirty border and round corner copied through, but that along the right side and bottom of the original card, that the black area is a shadow between the card and the background it was placed upon, so was copied too. And then printed along with it all. G*d, what an idiot this person must be!

Hey, you know I wasn't calling YOU an "idiot." That's not my style, never has been and never will be. It was the person who counterfeited the card. You won't be the first or last person who's been taken -- think of those cards that have even been slipped past grading companies. The consolation is that you didn't pay much for it. Sorry

Paul,
I apologize, I jumped the gun on the "idiot" comment. I was pissed at myself, and had to lash out at someone (not me, of course )

Can't believe I was fooled, I kinda' think I'm pretty good at such things. Live and learn, especially with the help of net54 !!!

Everyone have a good weekend, still gonna' brood for a while, Scott
