Default Johnson vs Jeffries - James E. Pepper Promo Card

James E. Pepper - Johnson vs Jeffries.jpg

I am hoping someone can provide me anything about this card.
Year it was produced?
How many different cards were produced?
Who the Loeser Brothers were?

Looks like Loeser Bros were publishers, so I would guess that they printed the photo for a client. (maybe it was used for advertising(?) )

I realize these are promo cards for James E. Pepper.
I have also emailed them to see if they could provide a little history to these cards, but I have not heard back from them yet.

Set of 12, made after 7/4/1910, uses Dana photos, probably meant for display in bars and taverns.

By chance do you have a listing of the 12?
I have been able to research 10 of the images.

1) Johnson collecting his share of the $121,000 purse...
2) World's Famous Gladiators and Promotors
3) Billy Jordan introducing Jeffries
4) Billy Jordan introducing Johnson
5) Round 1 - Johnson's back/Jeffries crouching
6) Round 1 - Clinch
7) Round 2 - Looking for an opening
8) Round 2 - Jeffries facing Johnson, Johnson's back
9) Round 14
10) The Knock-Out (I am surprised by this image. An advertisement that shows Jeffries being knocked out).

I'm assuming you saw the lot of 10 that went off on Ebay recently.

Thanks.
So, I am going to guess that this image didn't make the final cut.

These were made in several different sizes and mount formats, so not sure if there is a complete set per se.

There might be some poses in some groupings that don't exist in others and visa versa. Or just "known" and "unknown" I'd guess.
