Default Announcing Joe's Vintage SC auctions

As a follow up to the email that was just sent out (and if you have unsubscribed you are missing some good emails) here is a follow up thread for Joe. I wish him all the luck and look forward to another venue to attain the cardboard we all know and love....
.
.

Announcing Joe's Vintage SC auctions

Joe's Vintage Sports Cards is pleased to announce a new branch of their company, JVSC auctions. JVSC auction #1 is open for bidding. To view the auction and register to bid:

www.jvscauctions.com

JVSC auctions was developed with the bidder and consignor in mind. You can read much more about the features of JVSC auctions in the rules, about me, and consign sections of our site, but here are a few features of our auction house:

1. Honesty and Integrity.

2. There will be no buyer's premium. If your winning bid is $100, you pay $100 - it's as simple as that.

3. A JVSC auction will end every other Tuesday night, and a new auction will start the following Wednesday.

4. Paypal and Visa will be accepted.

5. Reasonable shipping rates, and free shipping if payment is made by check.

6. A flat rate consignment schedule, which will result in much lower consignment fees.

Here is the consignment schedule:
http://www.jvscauctions.com/consignwithus.aspx

7. 30 minute rule end time for each individual item, with the entire auction open during extended bidding to anyone who has placed at least one bid on ANY lot in the auction. The goal is to end the auction at a reasonable time, yet still give every bidder ample opportunity to manage their bids and funds across the entire auction.

8. The vast majority of lots will have a starting bid of $10.

9. Fast payment to consignors. When JVSC gets paid, you get paid.

JVSC will own all the lots in the first four auctions, so if the auction doesn't go as well as planned, JVSC be the loser, not consignors. JVSC will start accepting consignments in January for JVSC auction #5, which will open February 27th.

Please register to bid in JVSC auctions here:
http://www.jvscauctions.com/adduser.aspx

Thanks, Joe

Joe Yanello

I like the shift to these (non-eBay) auctions. Not just Joe's.

I 2nd the shipping with JoeV - always in a box and free (from his website anyway).

Just got my invoice for a single card auction win. $3 shipping! Bravo to Joe's! Gotta love not being hustled on that cost!

Best,

Andy

Joe (& Tim) have always been a class act and a pleasure to deal with.
Won 3 slabbed cards and was charged $3 shipping if Paypal is used, and no shipping w/ a check.
Can't beat that and the zero buyers premium is a breath of fresh air.
Looking forward to their next auction

Default I bid, I won, I Paypal'd....

Could NOT have been ANY easier, and already bid on auction #2. Joe has always had a great inventory, and this is a really great way to get that inventory out into the hands of the collectors at a truly market price... thanks, Joe!!!

Does anyone know why I can't access Joe's website directly? My browser is warning me not to visit due to security issues.

Joe stopped doing auctions around 1-2 years ago. Which is ashamed. I really enjoyed his offerings.

He first shut down the retail side in 2018 I think, then his auctions trailed off early last year. Just bought a few cards from his eBay store, though. Always a reliable dealer in my book

Ah the good old days when Red Borders were plentiful! I acquired too many cards from Joe when I first got back in the hobby! Or maybe it wasn't enough!
