My favorite image of Cobb. Likely from an event in Georgia. (Not in my collection, but I wish it was.)

I was wondering when a T3 would make an appearance. Just a beautiful example of an exquisite card.

The Cobb green only comes with 8 different backs, and 6 of them are either Piedmont or Sweet Caporal. That is still an amazing group.

Speaking of multiple backs, where are Jaime's Cobbs?

Go to T206resourse.com and check under CHECKLIST. They have a Searchable Database that will allow you to enter Cobb and search each card for all backs.

Lots of amazing Cobbs in this thread! What I find even more amazing is the near absence, thus far, of Cobbs from the b & w, real-photo sets of the late teens and 1920's! I'd sure love to see some more of these (FYI, I don't have any of these - lotsa WaJos, but no Cobbs!).

If it doesn't have to be card specific, I love these Ty Cobb previously owned snapshots of he and his wife that I picked up this year....

Default A virtual cornfield of Cobbs

For a non-Titus hoarder, nice stash!

A question...do you have something against the Cobb Bat on card? Only see one, which might just indicate a certain lack of interest?

Default Great Cobbs everyone!

I at one time started a back run of red Cobbs and stopped at 10. What was I thinking, that's the toughest one to pick so I ended up selling all of them. But I did keep my green Cobb; only because my wife bought it for me for Christmas like 4 years ago. I will never part with it, well you all know why...

I have posted this a few times over the last couple years... but this thread seems like a good spot for it one more time

According to my research.. there are a total of 30 possible backs for the red cobb portrait.. The ones missing from the below picture include the T213 Type 3 with Overprint (only 1 known).. the T214 Victory (only 2 or 3 known).. and the Cobb Back (10-12 known)
Lots of toughies shown below.. including the Sov460, AB350, Lenox, RH, Blank, Drum (1 of 3), BL460 (1 of 1)
