Default Chief Bender Autograph - Opinions???

Hey everyone,

I picked up this Chief Bender T205 card. It is heavily marked on the front and back, but interestingly, there is a "Chas Bender" signature on the front/top of the card. I did some online comparisons on the signature. Most of the signatures I found are signed with "Chief Bender," and very little with "Chas Bender." The samples I found seem similar, but I do see differences as well. One thing seems certain - the additional handwriting does match the signature so if it is a Chief Bender autograph, it appears he also wrote the additional wording.

Does anyone have any insight on whether or not this might be an authentic signature? I appreciate any input on this.
Travis

Generally an autograph question should go in that section of the forum but that is such a unique card more people should get a view...Sorry, I can't help on the signature but the art gets a B+

B+? You're very generous. Looks like whomever did it was quite bored at that time....
