Default 1903 World Series program in REA

Earlier today a 1903 World series program sold for $36k plus juice. Earlier this summer another sold in Heritage that was in pices and it sold for about 15k more. I read the description and the program had some restoration work done ( and the program looked great). Earlier this year a game 1 program sold for $171k. Was the huge price drop the restoration or the fact that 3 sold in a year? Either way I think buyer did very well.
Other programs were all over the place the federal league program a little low, the 1903 Cubs kinda high. 51 NL playoff game 3 a little low. Jmho

Memorabilia generally all over the place. Not unusual for a photo or ticket stub these days to sell for 1/2 of what it sold for 6 or 8 months ago. Weird market. Only thing still going straight up is apparently Michael Jordan.

Default game used bat prices

Erratic prices. The REA Babe Ruth bat did pretty well at $1.3 million. I suppose the Gandil bat was not a shocker at $54K. Other bats attracted more modest bids.

It depends upon the segment of memorabilia we're talking about. Game-used items continue to escalate (a lot). Quality autographed items as well... The autographed balls in REA went nuts in overtime.... I think the Heilmann Ball jumped from $800 to $35,000 ($42K with the juice). And the McGraw, Maranville, Hamilton and Averill Balls may have all broken records as well.

There was weakness among the figural type pieces... The Southland Bronzes, Bobbleheads and Walter Johnson Statue floundered a bit. The Johnson Statue was missing its base, but still went cheaper than in past sales. There were not many pennants, but the ones they had did just okay, IMO. Not sure about Tickets and Programs, as they aren't my wheelhouse. But sounds like they've declined a significant bit.

So there's a wide array of "stuff" that makes up the memorabilia segment... some is thriving; some not so much.

I was thinking about consigning my 1919 WS program but after seeing the framed one sell for $850, I may hang onto it for a bit.
