Default 1969 Topps Johnny Bench #95, well centered

Really sharp, well centered 1969 Topps Johnny Bench. Am I the only one who likes this one better than his true rookie card??

Asking $249.99 on eBay... willing to “Best Offer” discount here on Net54.

Lower price - $215, Net54 only...

Here is Ebay link and a very young Johnny below - “no drips, no runs, no errors” (free shipping if you buy and can tell me where that quote is from

Default 69 Bench

I am with you on liking this card better than the Rookie card. Same goes with the 64 Rose is better than the 63 Rookie! Nice Card!

Actually the order is “no runs, no drips, no errors.” That would be Krylon spray paint, a product of the Borden Home and Professional Products Group. It
was a way for them to associate with athletics to promote their product.

Yeah, I figured that would be a lay-up trivia for THIS crowd... bonus question; what was the name of Johnny’s baseball group of kids (Saturday mornings, I think) - no using Google!

Nice card. Is there any way you can take it out of the holder and take a photo of the card on a flat surface? Hard to see the centering when it's tilted like that.

If your question is, will this card be an upgrade to a PSA 6, I wish I could help.... hard to say but would guess this one might be in the same range as yours. Maybe might get lucky and grade higher but I just can’t say for sure.

Can you post a picture of the back? Trying to see if the card is diamond cut.
