Jay Miller - here is a link to the new board's link-list. I had suggested that Leon simply include a link to Bill's link-list, but since Bill has decided to "punish" some of us, that is no longer feasable.

True, Bill has now added my link back in (in fact, in duplicate), but I'm sure that's only to avoid appearing like he's still on his ego-trip.

Despite Bill's reconsidering his previous actions, I'm done here. I was participating not only on this board, but also on the game-used board and Leon's board. Yes, I like them all!

Some hobbyists had questioned whether or not there was a "war" between the boards. Not at all. Agreed, there are many on this board who are VERY pissed off at people participating on the other one, but the opposite is NOT true. The only reason I'm leaving this board is out of principle, not because I don't like it. Bill refused to listen to our suggestions, and then he decided to "punish" us when we formed another board.

What if we formed a board to discuss politics? Would Bill then punish us if he decided it was okay to talk politics on THIS board? You guys need a new forum moderator, pure and simple.

Bill has done a better technical job than anyone in the past, but the fascist attitude is no good for anyone...except Jay Behrens.

Big time fan of this Board. Avid collector of T3 Turkey Reds, Ramlys and the uncommon T206 backs--proud owner of fifteen Uzits.

Bill does a GREAT job with this Board. You should be commended for all the 'baby-sitting' that you do and you should be on this year's Nobel Prize ballot. I love what Julie, Trae and Cycleback add to this Board.

Now with Scott gone and offending Leon, this board is rapidly improving. Anyway to offend Jay so he'll leave?

I would not otherwise offer an opinion on this subject but, since I voiced my view that Bill does an excellent job controlling board content, I feel compelled to contribute. I believe even more strongly that Bill should provide links to all other forums that can be expected to be of interest to a significant portion of our members, including of course Leon's and Scott's boards.

The split between boards wasnt a mutual agreement.Most people missed the behind the scenes talking that was involved and i for one think Bill has every right based on that not to put the link up.

There is people using both boards,so its easy to email someone for the link,or if someone asks for the link to send it to him.Neither board will get lost,plenty of people know where they are that frequent both boards.

If the situation on how the other board came about was different then there would be a link to it. Asking Bill to put it up tho without knowing what really happened is akin to spitting in his face after he got pushed down,because you thought the spit would help clean off the dirt.

BUT, when censorship takes place...well someone has to explain to the masses.

and it will be fun again, for those who do not find it fun now. I'm guessing when the Spring training games start next week or so, the fever will return. Right now, no real baseball, no football, no hockey, no March madness--basically just mid-season NBA and a litttle golf and auto racing going on.
