OK, the theoretical "great" day is gone, time to come inside... OK to sit at the computer again. Sox are down by five. Beckett is out with an injury. All of a sudden, the season is going down the toilet |

I don't have many pennants and definately none as good as Greg's. This is a mini pennant and I also own the full size version. These are the only ones I've seen. |

That 1940-50s Western League stuff seems to be really scarce Clint. I can definitely appreciate an item like that. |

Thanks Dan. The 1920's and 1930's are even tougher. Show me that great Western League ball in box you have. The one from the 20's or 30's. |

Rob, is that top pennant baseball related? It's really a cool pennant. |

I've always assumed that it is, given the "Cleveland" and the display of Indians. It's dated 1916, one year after the club changed its nickname from Naps to Indians. |

Joe, I've seen that pennant a couple of times before but never in that condition. It's very impressive. |

How many different little pennants make up the BF3 sets altogether Tom? Is this an area where new ones are still being discovered or are they all pretty much known by now? |

it's a mis-directed head hair by that Lefty pennant. If it was lefty's it should be encapsulated..... |

Dan, to answer your question, there are about 500 known bf3s with an estimated 50 yet to be identified and cataloged. However, the sample you posted is a 1950 American Nut and Chocolate pennant. BF3s are four and a quarter to four and a half inches in length. The Nut And Chocolates are slightly under four inches. |
