A couple more Lou's.

The two pictures on the ends are from a game played July 16th, 1927.

Sections from photos above.

Yankees in the field with Lou at first and a very small Babe Ruth in left field. He is more recognizable at higher magnification. The pitcher is Pennock.

Gehrig at bat.

I don't get it. Is the word "dapper" associated with "hat"?

Excellent photos posted so far! I have shown these before, but they are my favorites. The sizes are off though as the Cobb is about half of the size of the Ruth.

Default Ken Hubbs & AAGPBL in Cuba

The B&W Hubbs was taken June of '63 in Philadelphia. The color shot has him "miced up" for the "Leadoff Man Show". The AAGPBL all star team was called "The Americanas"...I think. Unknown stadium & team in Cuba. The Hubbs snapshots came from his family.

Thank you! Ryan has definitely got the baby face in this 1968 snapshot. He's 21 years old in the photo, BTW...

Thanks Steve.
I love team photo snapshots as I find them to be very uncommon. This one is a little unusual it that it has a pro photographer logo in the bottom right. I guess this means it was the professional photogs who took it and just printed small versions.
Not sure why the pic looks so big. They are all the same size.

2. Jackie Robinson, 1956
3. NL All Stars
4. Willie Mays
5. Musial on a plane
6. Gibson and Cepeda and wives
7. Cobb & Collins
8. Speaker on a dog sled, 1919

These snapshots are great. I hope you don't mind but I am friends wiith Milton Berle's son on Facebook and he is an incredibly huge baseball fan and frequently posts pictures of his dad at games and with the games biggest stars and I passed this photo on to him. I know he is going to love it.

I love photo of Willie Mays from the 1967 All-Star game. Mays was a beast! Thanks for sharing.

Not an easy one to find on a snapshot, let alone an autographed one.

Default Vandy 1939 at NY Polo Grounds

Thought I would pump some life into this great thread on snapshots.
Here is a new Vandy 1939 snapshot pickup from net54's Jack Torciello.
Many thanks, Jack!
