Default 1939 Play Ball Ted Williams

I would like to pick up up a '39 Williams Play Ball at some point this year. I don't know too much about the specifics of the set, however. For example, does the Williams card have a back variation? I noticed two on eBay with differences including the word spacing for the paragraph, GUM. INC., vs. GUM, Inc., and America / Printed in the U.S.A. is italicized in one, but not the other.

The type of font used is different as well. I never noticed this before but never studied this set either.

Ditto. I do know there are a few out there with a "sample" overprint on back as well. Interesting "find".

A lot of the cards come with 2 variations - one has the name in both upper and lower case and the other has all upper case. The 2 cards you show are a good example. They must have printed them at different times or at different factories. Neither is worth more than the other.
