Default Has anybody busted a card out of a CSG slab?

I'm looking for tips how to do it. I find it easy to take cards out of SGC holders, but a little tougher with PSA holders. And and all help is appreciated.

I've done many to good and bad results on submitting to PSA. To me I take tin snips to the top, pop off a corner, wrap towel around it and work a flat head down the seams to pop the welds.

They use safety glasses instead of a towel.

Hi Chris. I cracked two CSG slabs last night. Everything was pretty similar to PSA or SGC. As others stated above, I tend to clip a corner with some shears and work my way around the edges with a flat head screwdriver. To me, the biggest challenge with CSG is removing the card from the insert sleeve as it is sealed on all four sides. I moved the card as far to one side as possible and then CAREFULLY cut the sealed area with scissors. Perhaps an exacto knife would be better. Once the insert is cut on the one side, the card will slide out without any issue. Hope this helps / answers your question.

Sonny
