Default Question for the hockey group

During the short time this forum has been solely dedicated to hockey, there has been quite a bit of activity in the "New Acquisitions" thread.

Rather than have a single thread for this, I was wondering if a new monthly pickup thread might be a good idea.

I'll be curious to see the results of this poll. If there's a strong majority opinion, perhaps we can kick off the new year with a "January Pickups" thread.

I think if the amount of posts gets to be too much, a monthly thread is better. OTOH, I'd hate to see a monthly thread have 5 posts and somebody starts a new thread because the month is over.

I think a wait and see approach is best right now.

I really have no stake in this game as I’m relatively née and don’t collect hockey cards. But heck, I’m here to discuss hockey from 78-94 if anyone cares to discuss!

(Really trying to forget the Milbury/Wang/Fisherman years)

I vouched for a "New Acquisitions Thread" over the monthly one in that thread, but I agree with the bold above. If this hockey section gets as popular as with the baseball monthly postings, then I will say sure, but if not, then lets just stick with the new acquisitions thread for the time being.
