I know the pictures aren't great, trying to get better scans, but I'm looking for advice on the authenticity of this red Cobb. Also, if you think it's real, what would it grade as ?

Are you located in Minnesota? This is listed on Craigs List here.

It's not mine, but yes, it belongs to a guy in Minnesota. I've been talking to him on email for a few days and I'm trying to determine if it's a scam.

What would be the purpose for providing such bad scans? Even the cheapest digital camera from the drug store can produce larger images. You'd have to purposely shrink the images to get them that small, and what would be the purpose in doing that? As any camera can produce larger images, this person has the ability to provide better images.

settle down - it's a legitimate question.

As David pointed out, the signs don't look good.

If he's local to you, why not see if you can set something up in person? You may want to bring a friend...

I e-mailed him earlier and he asked if I wanted to meet up and check it out. I figure it's a SGC/PSA 1.5 so not worth the money. Are you located in MN so you can check it out in person?

These are a bit bigger (the largest you can post on Craigs List)...

It's Real. Sean's assessment of grade is spot on. Inasmuch as I don't know what he's asking I can not render any further opinion.

He wants $500; Bernie I could meet the guy and check it out and pay if you're interested in it.

Let me know.
