Elberfeld Wash is a genuinely rare card, so many of them are graded just because of their value, still there should be a few around!

Jamie, you just made me think of Eric Cartman when you wrote that.

Jamie - I know your frustration, so I just sent you an email offering to sell you one of mine (the one below, which I got as part of a lot in a Masto Auction either last year or the year before, I forget which year). I'd even crack it out for you for free so you can receive it raw and ungraded! I agree with comments above that due to the value/rarity of this variation, when you are able to find one it does tend to be graded. But a hammer and a screwdriver can magically turn it back into a raw and ungraded card.

Regards,
Adam

After the T206 "Big Six" there are the "Tough Trio"....Dahlen (Brooklyn)....Elberfeld (portrait-Washington)....
Lundgren (Cubs).

Fortunately Elberfeld (portrait-Washington) was not printed with a SOVEREIGN back.

From my PIEDMONT set......
