Default Closing Tonight: Love of the Game's Fall Premier Auction

Hi All:

Just a quick reminder that Love of the Game's Fall Premier Auction closes tonight. Extended bidding begins at 9pm eastern time, with the double OT session beginning at 1.

The auction is loaded with prewar highlights, most notably the first lot, which is the E135 Collins-McCarthy Babe Ruth. It's a great card, one of the earliest of Ruth from a tough issue.

Also of note is the T3 near-set we are breaking up, offered card-by-card, including a nice Cobb.

There are also a number of less frequently-seen Ruth and Gehrig cards, a number of beautiful Conly cabinet photos as well as a collection of Harvard cabinets that include Fred Thayer, the inventor of the catcher's mask.

The memorabilia assortment is also strong, with hundreds of vintage programs, some beautiful original photography, some great ticket stubs, and a number of outstanding autographed cards.

If you're so inclined, please visit the auction at https://bid.loveofthegameauctions.com/Lots/Gallery, and good luck to all our bidders and consignors!

Regards,
-Al

Always nice to see the amazing mix of cards and memorabilia. Like an auction run buy a guy who actually loves baseball and it's history. Imagine that.

Looking forward to watching the close.

And I don't need to wade trough 100s of Mahomes, Brady, and Luka cracked ice superfractors to get to the baseball cards.

I don’t know Al personally, but have seen you at the shows. Some of the football you have in this auction are incredible and are garnering some fat stacks. Kudos to you for a well run auction. I won a few items. Thanks
