Heard a rumor that a couple of Lebron 9.5's, Kobe 9.5's and some $ for a Charizard 10 trade took place?

Is this market that nuts???

I don't get into the newer stuff, Pokémon and the like...but there were a lot of people with a lot of money there and 95% of it was new stuff. I wonder if many of them will venture back into vintage at some point. And that would be the proverbial 2 edged sword, as if it's not bad enough already, with respect to prices.

Can Anyone Report Seeing Cards Being Bought for Prices Recently Comparable to PWCC and Goldin at the Dalllas Show this weekend ???

I've never seen anyone buy at those levels in person at a show, wondering if things were different this weekend??

I can't speak to the new stuff but the Ruth, Cobb and other great Pre War cards have almost doubled in the last 3 months, from the last show. And big wads of money were changing hands.

this is true - the new guy Sasha (youtuber)... made the trade. 100K cash and the 3 for the Charizard....

As a vendor I can assure you the biggest names in vintage are what those chasing those cards with the new money are getting into. I heard requests for more RC's of those players than ever before. That type of person who is new and monied if they go into vintage will go after people such as Ruth, Cobb, Gehrig, and not care about the rest.

The problem is they will by the rising tide theorem lift prices of people such as Speaker, Mathewson and Greenberg just to name three random HOFers
